Ben is already using Custom Fields for his latest client project and has 'customized' his OS/ in just a few minutes:

1. Creating Custom Fields:
He created mandatory fields for PO numbers, free-text fields for internal notes, and the invoice type for T&M billing.

2. Project Creation: 

He creates his client project, and to ensure awork doesn't miss anything, he now adds his awork templates directly during creation.

3. Budget Control:
To keep track of whether his T&M items have already been billed, he uses his selection option ("Billed Time" or "Billed Material") directly in the budget.

The best part: Whether it's a multi-select dropdown, free text, or a number field – he defines what's important himself, and OS/ keeps the structure clean for him.

For Ben, Monday mornings have radically changed. OS/ now queries the crucial data exactly where it originates.
